Sukhumvit Soi 24: getting there and getting around

Short answer Take the BTS Sukhumvit line to Phrom Phong (E5) and leave by Exit 4. The corner of Soi 24 is about 89 metres away, roughly 2 minutes on foot.

Getting to the soi

Phrom Phong is the station to use. Exit 4 brings you out close to the corner of the soi on Sukhumvit Road. The MRT Blue line stop at Sukhumvit (BL22) is much further away, about 1,476 metres or roughly 20 minutes on foot, so it makes a longer walk from Exit 2.

There is no station near the far end of the soi. The soi is 640 metres long and runs south-west from Sukhumvit Road. Walking it end to end takes about 12 minutes.

Around the soi

Emporium, the shopping mall, is about 130 metres away, around 2 minutes on foot. Along the soi you will find 10 places to eat, 4 convenience shops and 5 places to stay. Some of these are Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 24, SkyView Hotel Bangkok and Oakwood Suites Bangkok.

From the airports

From Suvarnabhumi (BKK), take the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai, then change to the BTS Sukhumvit line for Phrom Phong. The journey is 14 stops with one change. The walk between the two platforms at Phaya Thai is about 157 metres.

From Don Mueang (DMK), the journey is 19 stops with two changes. You take the SRT Dark Red line, then the MRT Blue line, then the BTS Sukhumvit line. You walk about 255 metres from Krung Thep Aphiwat to Bang Sue, and about 172 metres from Sukhumvit to Asok.
